Back to the grind...

Monday Already?
We had a very nice weekend. It always goes by too quickly!

My friend, Lacey, had her baby shower on Saturday. That was fun. I saw some of our friends and had a good time. I got her a froggy bathtub, baby soap, and flannel blanket set that I finished crocheting the night before. It turned out pretty well.

Brian and I watched the Jayhawks beat the Tar Heels. That was also very awesome. I was very excited to see them play so well. Tonight is the championship game. They better win!

We went to the Conference Center yesterday for the afternoon session of General Conference. We got left-over tickets and decided to try it out. We really enjoyed it and took a walk around Temple Square afterwards. It's too bad that the weather hasn't been better. Usually there are lots of flowers around.

And now, we are back at work. What a bummer! Can't every day be the weekend?

YES!!!

That was a close one! Kansas wins by two...I almost had a heart attack! But I am very happy they made it to the Final Four. Two more games and they will be the champs this year! I'd also like everyone to know that I got all of the Final Four teams right on my bracket. Nice!

Side note: I found this awesome template for Brian since our blog has been kind of girly. You like it? Me, too!

The Big Dance...

One of the best seasons of the year is upon us...NCAA men's basketball playoffs! Brian and I picked the Kansas Jayhawks to win it all. They have the depth and skill to finally do it this year. They haven't won the championship since 1988. So....this is the year! Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I should have posted this yesterday, but I was a busy girl! I am now 26 years old...EEEK! I had a good day yesterday. Brian went all out for my birthday. First, he got us tickets to the Matchbox Twenty concert. Then he got some sweet black boots, a Boston Legal DVD, and matching Utah Jazz t-shirts. He's great!

I enjoyed my day off, even though I did schoolwork most of the day. It beats going to work! Brian and I went to Red Lobster, and I tried crab for the first time. It was very yummy! Then we went to see Dad. He looked a lot better and should be able to go home either today or tomorrow. Diane was there and gave me 101 Dalmatians DVD. She came over and had leftover cake and ice cream. I got birthday wishes from all the family and friends. So...all in all, a very nice day. Plus, the Jazz won! What else do you need?
