California Adventure park has a refurbished entrance now; Buena Vista Street (with a cable car). It is modeled after old-time Los Angeles from the 1920's.

Can't wait to go back!

Fall drives & Halloween 2012

The family is all ready for a fall drive. It was a rainy day so we didn't get out to explore. But we got a few shots from the car.

Playing with Dad

We had a heck of a time finding a Halloween costume that fit Dillon. Most of the stores either had baby sizes or toddler sizes. Dillon was in the middle since he's a tall boy. We finally ventured over to a Halloween store that had the right size of a Buzz Lightyear. It fit for about a week. :)

Major Updates Ahead!

Hello, Messy Man!

I'm getting back to blogging this week(end). I finally updated our countdown clock for vacation. Luckily, it doesn't seem that far away now! (That's what happens when you slack off on blogging.) Enjoy this pic of Dillon "eating" something extra messy. See you soon!

Stay Strong

Due to the increasing moral challenges of our world today, I felt compelled to write a little of where my thoughts have been. The latest presidential election left me questioning how the outcome would affect me & my family. It's baffling to see where America's people stand on so many important issues. Most importantly, it's deeply concerning how much God is forgotten. This country & constitution were founded on God's principles. Our forefathers had it right. God is in charge always. If we follow Him, we'll be just fine.

I found a great article on how we can stay strong in these hard times. I feel more peaceful now since I remembered that no matter what the world does, we don't have to follow. We just need to stay committed & truly decide which side we're on.
